We remember the concern and uneasiness that some of you may have felt during and following the COVID-19 outbreak. Fortunately, our community has come out on the other side of this traumatic time, but now, more than ever, we need to remain vigilant and continue those elementary hygiene practices we learnt during COVID. We are back to offering our full range of appointments but behind the scenes, the wonderful staff at Corinna St Orthodontics remain committed to the highest levels of infection control. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in continuing to observe the basics of safe hygiene we all learnt as a community during COVID.
2026 and beyond
We continue to observe the highest possible universal infection control standards. This includes a focus on personal hygiene for all staff even down to annual assessment for all at Corinna St Orthodontics on correct handwashing techniques. We are constantly evaluating our procedures and training to ensure we offer the safest environment for all our patients and visitors.
At Corinna St Orthodontics we strictly follow all legislated infection control standards and those recommended by the Australian Dental Association. All of our equipment is modern and easily cleaned and our patients can be assured that all our instruments and equipment used for our patients have been correctly sterilised and reprocessed to the highest standard. We pride ourselves in our extremely high level of compliance at annual infection control visits and reviews by ACT Health.
In return we ask that all our patients observe the basics of good hygiene.
- Please ensure you are well when you visit the practice. This includes anyone visiting the practice with a patient, such as parents and family or friends.
- Upon arrival please use the hand sanitiser provided.
- Please do not bring food into the practice.
- It is important to remain vigilant to the possible signs and symptoms of coughs, colds or flu and to avoid visiting if you have any potential infection. Remember, if you are not well enough to go to school or work, you are not well enough to visit us.
- If you have a fever, cough or other respiratory flu-like symptoms we strongly advise you to ring your doctor or call ‘Healthdirect’ on 1800 022 222 to seek medical assistance.
