When Should You Get An Orthodontic Treatment:
Misaligned teeth, crooked or crowded teeth, impacted tooth and malocclusion of the teeth are some of the typical problems that need orthodontic solutions.
Misaligned teeth might be brought on by the early loss of baby or adult teeth, improper fit of fillings, gingivitis, excessive pressure on teeth and gums and jaw trauma.
Meanwhile, crooked or crowded teeth can be experienced by children as small as five years old. It can be attributed to a number of factors including issues with mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, reverse swallowing as well as thumb sucking.
Impacted tooth is also a typical orthodontic problem that occurs when an individual’s wisdom teeth or third set of molars fail to emerge properly. The third set of molars might be stuck within the bone or gum tissue. They may be brought on by overcrowding or by having a jaw that is not big enough for the wisdom tooth to fit.
Malocclusion is also a common problem. The problem could be inherited and can also be caused by a difference in the size of the upper and lower jaws and birth defects like cleft lip and palate.
