Reasons Why You Should Get An Orthodontic Treatment?
A few of the typical conditions that require orthodontic services include misaligned teeth, crooked or crowded teeth, impacted tooth and malocclusion of the teeth.
Misaligned teeth could be due to the early loss of baby or adult teeth, improper fit of fillings, gingivitis, excessive pressure on teeth and gums and jaw injury.
Meanwhile, children as young as five years old can have a crooked or crowded teeth. It can be attributed to several factors including problems with mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, reverse swallowing as well as thumb sucking.
Impacted tooth also requires orthodontic service. It takes place when a person’s wisdom teeth did not properly emerge. They might be wedged within the bone or gum tissue. They may be caused by overcrowding or by having a jaw that is not big enough for the wisdom tooth to fit.
Another common orthodontic problem is malocclusion. The problem could also be genetically related. It could also be caused by a difference in the size of the upper and lower jaws. It might also be caused by birth defects like cleft lip and palate.
