You Need To Get An Orthodontic Treatment If You Have These Conditions.

Misaligned teeth – this problem can be brought about by the early loss of baby or adult teeth. It can also be caused by the wrong fit of fillings or crowns, gingivitis, excessive pressure on gums and teeth as well as jaw injury.

Crooked or crowded teeth – children as early as 5 years old could have this problem. It can be associated with mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, reverse swallowing and thumb sucking.

Impacted tooth – this problem normally happens when a person’s third set of molars remains stuck in gum tissue or bone for several factors like overcrowding, having a jaw that is too small for the wisdom tooth to fit, twisted, tilted, displaced teeth as it tries to emerge through the gums.

Malocclusion of the teeth – usually attributed to genetics. A difference in the size of the lower and upper jaws or between the tooth size and jaw can cause this condition. When this occurs, incorrect bite patterns arise. This problem can also be caused by birth defects like cleft lip and palate.
