7 ways we can help with your orthodontic treatment needs

• We are a fully nationally accredited orthodontic practice in Canberra and update our first aid and medical emergency qualifications every 12 months. Corinna St Orthodontics is infection-control accredited and we use up-to-date technologies and modern X-ray machines.

• All patients are treated as the decision maker, and this includes the children. Patients’ concerns, issues and comfort are very important to us.

• We love working with children. Dr Whittle prides himself on building rapport and connecting with them on a personal level. A child in the chair is the most important person in the world and the family is always involved. We also like to minimise an absence from school by providing before and after school appointments for quick check-ups. Major appointments usually only require one visit a term during school hours.

• The layout of our new practice encourages parents and siblings to attend the appointments so they understand the process, the optimum outcome, and any procedures that need to be followed. This is important, especially in families where multiple children may undergo treatment.

• We have a registered hygienist on hand to manage emergencies if Dr Whittle isn’t available. But you can also use the iPhone app we recommend called “iBraces Help” for useful information and videos on living with braces.

• We don’t have long waiting periods for new patients, and appointments for our one-step exam are usually available within 48 hours. After your one-step exam we send a full and detailed report to your dentist, with updates throughout treatment as necessary.

• We also send appointment reminders by email and text messages, and patients can login to their patient page with bLink using their individual login details to check when their appointments are or when a payment is due.
